Hola familia y amigos!
Week one is officially over. PRAISE
TO THE MAN. Alright, I will get right to it here is the low down on the CCM
(MTC). This place is CRAY we got rules up the walls and schedules like no one’s
bidnezz. But, somehow I am having so much fun. I feel like I am living in
an episode of The Office. Everything has this dull humor that kills me. So,
here are the basics my companion is in a different computer lab so you can get
the hard cold facts here people. His name is Elder Randall (someone Instagram
stalk Tyler Randall and report your findings to me). WE ARE COMPLETE OPPOSITES
but we are just started to work really well. He is the type to run around the
halls singing Let it Go in Spanish, just to show you what I am dealing with.
BUT we are somehow Gucci we work well together. He is kind of a pain with the
rules, who would have thought I would have to be the one who was enforcing me
companion to follow the rules! Elder Randall and I are
slowly becoming world class Ping-Pong players, I am not sure
if I am supposed to be proud or embarrassed of that.
My roomies are the realest
elders in the game. There are 6 of us in room 204 and it is the dankest dorm
en la CCM.
WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SEND PICTURES.
AM I A MISSIONARY IN THE CCM OR THE PRISONER OF ASKABAN??
YOU DECIDE PEOPLE YOU DECIDE.
I hardly get time to send this so I
will cut to the good stuff.
Funny Story of the Week:
A member of the 70 came to speak to
us last night. He did an amazing job and I wish I could tell you his name. LOL
oops. But before the meeting started (in the chapel) The Mission Prezs wife
(this 5 foot nothing, cute Latino) gets up and announces quote "Ef
enny of u haz de diareeeahhzz plz step forward. Ef anny of u haz had
the diahreah plz come to the front and tell uz for how long uz haz had
eet." So I am like crying sitting in the chapel tryna keep my cool. THEN
PEOPLE REALLY STARTED COMING FORWARD. So at that point I lost all chill, I was
like hysterically laughing. THEN, they hand out a survey for people to describe
their digestinal health..
Spiritual Moment of the Week:
(Skip this part Graham Bany)
The spirit has been with me since
the moment I stepped past the security line you guys. I testify to you that The
Lord is watching over me and I feel comforted every day. But, today I was able
to go to the temple for my chill Latina friends grandpa. She asked me specially
to do it for her and I just felt the spirit so strongly. My testimony in temple
work has been strengthened greatly! I have never truly felt the spirit as a
constant guide in the way that I am feeling it here.
Missionary Moment of the Week:
I gave out a Book of Mormon and committed
a woman at the Visa Center to come to church on Sunday! We were all just there
to get our Visas (WHICH WAS SO NICE TO GET OUTSIDE OF THE PRISON WALLS... I
mean CCM walls) and I started talking to her with my horrible EspaƱola and
after getting to know her I was able to share a little message with her. The
message of the gospel is so simple but so profound. Who knows how far she will
go with El Libro De Mormon but it’s amazing to think of the happiness I can
bring to someones life through the gospel once I am out of the CCM.
SORRY FOR NO PICTURES
ES MUY GHETTO.
My PDAY is Thursday so HMU before
then you guys! I love hearing from you send me some selfies and insta-worthy
pics.
LOVE U ALL PEASENTZ
Elder Malloy
