Honestly
I wanted to say week three down but I don´t even know how long its
been...
I feel like I was born and raised within the walls of the CCM. I
live off a strict diet of rice and mystery meat with the occasional celebratory glass of cantaloupe juice. SO that's great.
THE LORDS HAND IS IN ALL THINGS INCLUDING THE MTC CAFETERIA.
This
week has been so amazing. I have made a complete 360 with everything. I
love everyone here I have made so many friends and my district is my
family away from home.
Weekly Companion Vent Sesh:
OKAY REAL TALK
My companion seems to always have a song in his heart. Metaphorically and Literally.
But
mostly literally. I am not sure if he is tone deaf or if my hearing has
somehow been altered by my complete and utter annoyance. Never the
less, I must put a stop to this.
His playlist includes but is not limited to:
Les Miserables soundtrack
Johny Cash
Nearer my God to thee (sadly and ironically I feel further each time he sings)
Hairspray the Musical
Various Show tunes
"I wanna talk about me"
Anyways that is that. My patience has grown 10 fold and that is a blessing. I think.
He really is a cool guy, you guys.
Weekly Spiritual High:
While
walking down the street on Saturday we were stopped by a member of the
church she called us over to her door where her friend was sitting. Her
friend was noticeably really sick and was not a member of the church. The
member asked on behalf of her friend for a blessing. Her faith was so
strong she referenced to Jesus healing the sick and raising the dead.
My
faith is by no means a strong as a prophet of old and I am far from
Christs perfect example but this little Peruvian woman´s faith in the priesthood touched my heart. The spirit testified to me the priesthood
has been restored to the earth in these latter days.
Weekly Missionary Moment:
I
FELT LIKE THE REAL DEAL THIS WEEK. I was able to go proselyting on
Saturday and found 3 really interested and extremely humble
investigators! It was amazing to begin sharing the message I came here
to share! The people here are humble, on the outskirts of town the
streets are dirty and the houses are quaint but the residents are kind
and even if they already have a firm faith they are all willing to
listen. Random
old people will come and give me hugs and welcome me to Peru. Its
amazing to be here telling everyone about The Restoration of the Gospel,
The Plan of Salvation, or even just the fact that they are loved by
their father in heaven!
Okay more real talk:
RICE IS THE SPAWN OF SATAN I NEVER WANT TO SEE ANOTHER GRAIN OF IT FOR AS LONG AS I LIVE
THESE KEYBOARDS ARE SO GHETTO
WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE PICTURES ON ANY DAY BUT P DAY NOW! WE CANT SEND OR TAKE THEM?? (PS I am claiming all the pictures I send home from the CMM in 4 weeks were taken on P day, don't judge)
SPANISH ES NOT THE BIDNEZZ
It's coming though! I taught one lesson that I thought was ONE POINT OFF THE CHAIN so idk but I think that's progress.
Alright time is off the essence but I will leave you with the best experience so far in the CCM:
So our way cool roomies Elder Parens and Elder Evans left us this week, but before the night before they left they called us all into the bathroom for some creepy ritual.. They turned off all the lights and used flashlights and chants and pretty much it was border line too far but they passed down the sacred sombrero of the CCM to me, Elder Randall, Mohlmon, and Searle. If they knew I was telling you this I would be banished from "Caurto Doz Ciento Quaaaatrro"anyways we are suppose to pass the black magic voodoo sombrero down to two companionships the night before we leave. Is it sad that a part of me is so honored¿¿¿ I think I need to get out of here.
Alright love you lozerzz,
Elder Malloy
(MOM what up girl¿¡ Check the grammar por favor¡)
* Honestly I can't ?? JUST LOVE HIM:)
